Q: Is the FABULOUS FAMILY FUN DAY free?
A: Yes. This is totally free, supported and paid for by community funding. The intention is that as much of the Bash as possible should be a free event for the local community, (excluding food and drink) 😃. The Saturday event is the only ticketed part of the Bash. Bands and musicians need to be paid, stages, PA, lights etc need to be paid for!
Please note children MUST be accompanied by an adult. We hope parents understand this is in everyone’s interests for a safe and enjoyable afternoon.
No adult no admittance.
Q: Are children allowed?
A: Yes of course. However, children under the age of 16 should be supervised. Unsupervised children will not be allowed to attend the Bash.
Q: How does the ticketing work?
A: To guarantee entry you should buy a ticket in advance online HERE or from The Old Stables Inn, Beattock, from Monday May 19th. If you buy your ticket online this will be scanned at the door and exchanged for a wristband. If you buy your wristband from the Old Stables THIS IS YOUR TICKET and should be worn to the event.
No ticket = no wristband. No wristband = no entry.
Q: Can we have more (insert your choice here) 60s, funk, folk, classical music etc?
A: The Bash aims to have as wide a range of music performed as possible. This is only constrained by band availability and price! If you know a band or act you think should be performing ask them to get in touch or send us their contact details.
Q; I’m a musician just starting out, but I’d like a chance to perform. Can I play at the Bash?
A: Yes. Contact us and we’ll make every effort to find a slot for you. There are many opportunities to perform at the Bash and we are very much about giving new musicians the opportunity to gain experience in performing. We’d love to hear from you.
